Employees covered by extented transition security are entitled to
- transition security allowance
- transition security training
- employment leave, which is 5, 15 or 25 days
To be eligible for extented transition security, you need to fill all the conditions below:
- dismissed due to production or finansical reasons after 1.1.2023 - termination of fixed-term employment does not meet the condition
- turned 55 at the latest on the day of termination
- worked for the same eployer for at least 5 years at the time of dismissal AND
- registered as a jobseeker with the TE office within 60 days of the dismissal. The date of dismissal refers to the day on which the notice of dismissal is given. If the notice period is long, you must therefore register with the TE office before the end of the employment relationship.
